On Wednesday 13th September 2017, the girls Freya, Hannah, Jasmine, Nina, Millie and Heather went
to the girls football tournament at New Mills Leisure Centre.
Our first game was against Thornsett Primary and we drew 0:0 but then we were confident for our next game. We were all tired but after a drink, we got pumped up.
Our next game was against St George’s and we won 1:0. Freya scored the goal for us so we were confident we would win the next game.
Our third game was against New Mills Primary and we also drew them 0:0 so we said we would try and win the last game because then we would be through to the semi – final.
Our last game we were against Hayfield Primary and drew 0:0 so we didn’t get into the semi-final. We were in league 1 and Mrs Harding told us we hadn’t won.
We were disappointed that we didn’t go through but at least we came 3rd.
